Paul was born in Pohang on the southeast coast of South Korea in the sign of the Libra.

When Paul was 9 years old, his family decided to make the move to New Zealand. He currently works as a Geotechnical Engineer, engineering anything from foundations, retaining walls, embankments to dams and tunnels.

Paul has proven to be an extremely quick learner when it comes to dancing!!! Funny that because he tells us his friends had to do some real convincing work on him to even get him to try a salsa class. However once the decision was made that he would give it a go, it was a done deal! Although when the day came, all his friends pulled out on the class and gone with plan B!

Paul soon realized dancing is something that comes quite naturally to him and he picks it up fast! So naturally he stuck with it... It has now been a whole year and a half and he's going strong! Paul started coming along to Latinissimo's casual salsa classes and when he found out that there was an actual student team he was very keen as it would set a goal for him to achieve. After about 30min... he decided to join TEAM Latinissimo! You can catch Paul perform with Latinissimo!
