TEAM Latinissimo 2010

Adrian was born in the city of Bucharest, Romania in the sign of Virgo.

Long time friend and dance partner Emma, already a TEAM Latinissimo member, introduced him to salsa dancing. When Adrian first came to Latinissimo, he was a complete beginner to salsa.

He was keen to join TEAM Latinissimo, but had only 10 weeks to pull it together to perform infront of the biggest salsa crowd in New Zealand! Luckily Adrian loves a challenge and was ready to give it his all. In deed he did and eventually performed with TEAM Latinsisimo at the 2010 New Zealand Salsa Congress in Wellington. At the time of writing this article, Adrian had only been dancing salsa for 6 months!

Adrian has been dancing Ceroc for approximately 18 months, plus a bit of Cha Cha, Zouk, Bachata and lately West Coast Swing. Adrian and Emma recently placed 1st in the Intermediate category at the Ceroc East and South Champs!

I asked him how his experience with TEAM Latinissimo has been so far;

"It's been really great, I love being part of the team! My technique has definately improved and helped me alot with my other dancing!"

In the day time Adrian works as a bucher. He also used to compete in Body-Building competitions and came 3rd in the Nationals a few years ago. You can catch Adrian performing with Latinissimo C-Team and Latinissimo B-Team.
