Team Latinissimo 2010

Stefan was born right here in Auckland and is an Aries. He has been dancing Salsa/Latin for approximately 4 years now. One night he got inspired by the social dancing at the Mexican Cafe. First thing in the morning he picked up the phone and called Latinissimo to book a Beginners course!

Stefan tells me;

"- I looked at others dancing and the quality of people I wanted to get to know whilst wanting to build confidence, develop my posture and grow my social circle. I know that people see dancing and they think "wow I'd like to be able to do that some day!", but that usually never comes true. Instead I called Latinissimo, first thing in the morning and booked a beginners course. Since then I have grown in my passion for music, developed a great circle of friends and found a new way to express my self through music and dance."

Stefan loves to Salsa dance! He has expanded his dancing by taking on Latin as well and is loving that too! In fact, his aim this year is to compete at the 2011 New Zealand Ballroom and Latin American Dancesport Championships.

How has your experience with TEAM Latinissimo been?

"- Latinissimo is known for its reputation, the reputation of a dance school that had its own syllabus properly taking you through from the absolute beginner level right through to performance and competition levels. The great thing for me is its main focus on technique and getting things "right the first time around!".

If you want to learn how to dance, grow, perform, lead properly and become "good" – this requires commitment, persistence and a school with a good dancing development structure. – For this – Latinissimo excels!"

Stefan works as a Procurement Team Member at Gen-I (Telecom) (IT) and is a Managing Director – Ability Care – Providing Disability equipment for our seniors and disabled.

He is passionate about business, coaching developing others and helping them achieve their goals. He also enjoys water skiing, dancing of course(!), soccer, snow boarding, taking the boat out and spending time with friends. Stefan is also the president of the Ponsonby Advanced Toastmasters and is very much into Personal Development.

Stefan has been a Latinissimo student from the very beginning of his salsa dancing experience and in 2010 he decided to take it up a notch... or 3... by joining Latinissimo's C-TEAM.
