Yoko Nakanishi

Yoko Nakanishi (JPN)

Team Latinissimo 2010-2011

Yoko was born in the sign of the Aquarius in one of the metropolis of the world, Tokyo, Japan. She was introduced to salsa dancing back in 2007 in Tokyo by a friend and has not stopped since.

Yoko moved to New Zealand in 2008 and works in Client services for Japanese speaking people. He background includes Rhythmic Gymnastics which explains her flexibility.

I asked Yoko how her experience with Team Latinissimo has been:

"-Excellent! My styling skills have improved so much!"

She also tells me she wants to continue to perform and experience more salsa clubs and bars around the world. Besides dancing, Yoko also draws comics and enjoys swimming!

Yoko was a member of Latinissimo's "DELTA" Team and performed at several major events such as Jambalaya, Kiwi Classic, NZ Salsa Congress to mention a few.
