Olla was born in the sign of Taurus in Moskow, Russia and came to New Zealand in 2007.

About two years ago a good friend of hers took her to the salsa night at the Mexican Cafe in Auckland and she absolutely loved the music! She felt that is just makes her want to dance!

A week later she enrolled in an 8wk Beginners salsa course. She has since then been social dancing on/off at the Mexican Cafe.

Besides Salsa she has also been dancing samba for approximately a year. Although she is a full time student at the University of Auckland studying Bachelor of Commerce, arts, international business and German... she still finds time to get her dance fix!

Olla joined Team Latinissimo's "CHARLIE" Team in early 2011 with the goal to perform at the New Zealand Salsa Congress!

I asked her how her experience with Team Latinissimo has been.

"It's been great! Latinissimo provides you with a friendly environment in which you get personalized teaching. Great technique! Learned a lot about the importance about lead and follow and connection.

Olla is passionate about languages and speaks fluent German and a bit of Spanish too. She loves to play tennis, go wakeboarding and surfing. She is crazy about motorbikes, in fact she has he license as well and hope soon to get her own bike! Olla also loves to travel and went backpacking around Australia for 3 months. She says that travelling is the best way to learn about your self and other people.
