"Katya" is a blond Russian girl born in the sign of Scorpio.

In 2009, her partner asked to join him for a class once... and she has not stopped since!

Salsa was Katya's first encouter with Latin dancing and lately she has also been doing Zouk-Lambada wich she enjoys very much. We noticed Katya was very co-ordinated and picked up choreography very quickly. She was invited to join Latinissimo's "CHARLIE" Team in early 2011 to perform at the New Zealand Salsa Congress in Wellington.

How has your experience with Team Latinissimo been;

"The dynamics of the group (team) development is different from other non-performing teams."

Katya works as a service co-ordinator for ACC and does short term personal care/home help contracts. She moved from London to New Zealand because of her partner. She thought she was going to live in London for the rest of her life...
