Emma was born in New Zealand but grew up in Latin-America, namely the soccer and samba crazy country of Brazil!
She had been doing ceroc for 5 months when she heard people talking about salsa, so out of curiosity she got on YouTube. She instantly loved the look and style and when to the first studio she could find to learn! Emma is a full time student studying a Bsc in Anthropological Science and a BA in Philosophy. She loves to dance!
All throughout high school she did hip-hop and continued on at the start of Uni. She did well in ceroc competitions which gave her the confidence to continue with other partner dancing such as salsa!"- Dancing is literally euphoria for me!"
"- There are two great feelings in this world; learning and dancing! I study all day and dance every night! If I could learn and dance for the rest of my life I would be very happy! I'm a keen reader too... philosophy, theology, history, etc... (an undercover geek which I cover up with my dance)."
Emma will be performing with TEAM Latinissimo on Saturday night of the Sydney Salsa Congress 2010!
